The Villas Sankhara under the spell of love…

« An unforgettable day » « thank you for your kindness »… the wedding organised in October for Swiss clients was a huge success. The Villas Sankhara: endless ideas, a vast network of service providers, the expertise and professionalism to reach the height of your expectations and desires.

After many months of preparation and anticipation, we finally had the pleasure of organising our first wedding on the beach in front of the Villas. The brilliant white of the wedding arch was a perfect contrast to the pristine turquoise blue of the Indian Ocean… Everyone’s happiness was palpable and laughter filled the air.

After exchanging their vows, the rings and the traditonal wedding kiss to seal their eternal love, grains of rice rained down on the newly weds… a promise of love and of a prosperous life together. As the twenty-two guests slowly recovered from their emotions, a special Mauritian “ti-punch”, accompanied by little vegetable and prawn samousas, was served to toast the happy couple…

As night began to fall, the seafood buffet was prepared in the tropical garden near the Villa Tiara, as requested by the wedding couple. Grilled lobster, fresh fish - caught the same morning - marinated and slowly cooked to perfection, tomatoes filled with crabmeat… and a special surprise; a caramel ‘pièce montée’ and a fruit and almond wedding cake covered in cream, to the pure delight of the young, and even the not-so-young!

The garden was filled with an air of magic… fairy lights were wrapped around the trees and candles shone throughout the garden. The guests were still chattering joyfully around the large table as the lively beat of the music began to echo through the night.
